Zamp Solar panels are used in all Airstream factory pre-installed solar packages starting in the 2019 model year. That means every Airstream travel trailer leaving the Jackson Center, Ohio manufacturing facility today will be equipped with dedicated solar ready hookups. New owners can expect a solar ready trailer with a Zamp Solar Side Wall Port and a 3 Port Roof Cap. The wide array of Zamp Solar rooftop and portable solar solutions make it easy for all Airstreamers to harness the power of the sun. Most Airstream trailers have three factory solar options to choose from. 

Airstream Trailer Factory Solar Options:

Solar Pre-wire (Standard On All Trailers): This factory option comes with a pre-wired Zamp Solar Side Wall Port wired directly to the battery bank. This is perfect for connecting a regulated (charge controller equipped) Zamp Solar Portable Solar Panel Kit. 

This option also includes a pre-wired Zamp Solar 3 Port Cap on the roof allowing the simple quick connection of solar panels. Easily add up to three Zamp Solar 90 Watt Long OBSIDIAN SERIES solar panels.

Zamp Solar 90 Watt Package: 

This factory option encompasses a pre-wired side wall port to be used with portable solar panels as well as a three port roof cap. A single Zamp Solar 90 Watt Long Solar Panel will be installed on the roof. This 90 package also includes an interior digital monitor and two upgraded AGM Batteries.

Zamp Solar 180 Watt Package: 

This factory option encompasses a pre-wired side wall port to be used with portable solar panels as well as a three port roof cap. Two Zamp Solar 90 Watt Long Solar Panels will be installed on the roof. This 180 package also includes an interior digital monitor and two upgraded AGM Batteries.
